The retail store for Comvita is more than just a shop to buy honey; our client was after a space that was more of a wellbeing experience for their customers. Working alongside the designers at Weblurthelines, we manufactured and created a unique store for customers to learn about the process of honey making and the benefits of the products they purchase instore. This was a full fit out job for us; we stripped back everything from the existing space to fit it out with brand new finishes. All cabinetries are designer-look metal shelves, glass and copper frames to showcase the various types of honey products. We built large blue stone tables that were installed with custom-made copper taps and basins. The bronze roof is a feature with a cane ceiling shaped to represent the honeycomb patterns with acoustic panels. The room out the back is an “experience zone”, fit out with several movie theatre chairs and a projector on a curved wall for a 180 perspective. The projector showcases a documentary style film about the journey from hive to honey and the benefits of Manuka honey. Everything in this store is very slick design, contributing to the overall Comvita wellness experience.
