Complete was proud to bring the design developed by Paul Izzard Design to life for Gerome, a modern Greek restaurant located on Auckland’s iconic Parnell Road. We were engaged by the client to deliver the full interior fit out for the bar and restaurant.
With a Mediterranean brief, a rich tapestry of materials and textures were used to create an Ottoman atmosphere. The fit-out features an open kitchen, two bars, mezzanine dining, and two exterior dining areas. The design of the bar features brass frame and trims, and the booth seating and fabric panels are a significant feature of the overall ambience.
The project was the Gold winner of the 2017 Best Design Award for Hospitality, with the judges commenting, “the creative application of traditional crafts and details gives this space a uniqueness, and the consistency and extensive innovative detailing enriches the overall experience.”
