Kookaï Ponsonby is the latest offering in New Zealand for the international, Parisian-inspired, women’s retailer. Due to Kookaï’s international brand status, the designs were very specific to ensure the look is consistent with other stores. We worked closely with the Australian-based designers at every step of the project, sending samples for approval, prior to manufacturing and delivery. The majority of the furniture is brand new joinery manufactured in our factory and installed onsite, while some of the furniture was second-hand from former Kookaï stores, in which we refurbished so they were fresh for the new store. Kookaï Ponsonby has pure oak blush floors and whitewash European oak veneer on their cabinetry throughout for a fresh, feminine look.
